Deep under the sea
DEEP UNDER THE SEA is a vivid and sensory dance performance for everyone age 2 or older. Dance, design, music and live projection are incorporated in an imaginative and surprising way. The live projection has a special type of imagery and transports you deep under the surface of the ocean. The children get to participate actively and are invited to experience, to feel and to take part. In DEEP UNDER THE SEA, the audience is encouraged to open up all their senses and to go on a discovery journey into the underwater world of the sea.
In DEEP UNDER THE SEA you’ll be guided by Dagmar Chittka, the driving force behind Rotterdam’s dance theater company Rauher Engel. Physical intensity, absurd elements and poetical imagery make for a distinctive character of Dagmars performances. Actually, quite like Dagmar herself: quirky and always curious about the world around her. Previous performances of Rauher Engel are a.o. Wi Wa Wit and Sheep Softly.
